This coffee is grown in the Ethiopian highlands at altitudes ranging from 1,500 to 1,800 meters.
It is harvested with natural methods between October and December, and then washed and placed in the sun to dry. The green bean is of medium size and are blue to blue grey in color.

Although it is an Arabica variety, it features a full body, floral nuances and a soft, slightly winy taste.
The extraordinary taste comes from ripening in plantations where coffee is cultivated among banana, cinnamon and tea plants. This allows coffee beans to naturally absorb a great variety and complexity of aromatic flavors.
