An original book emerged from the collaboration of Moak, Verbavolant, and their common passion for coffee, paper and graphic design. “White flowers and coffee berries” of the “Wallbook” series is an illustrated comic book and art poster at the same time, printed on typography paper 100×70 cm. As the pages are opened out, you can read the story about what’s behind a coffee cup. The last table comes with a surprise: a poster to frame and hang on the wall. A book that simply captivates all senses: you can almost smell the scent of African plantation flowers and imagine the lush colors of berries and beans, while touching the pleasant roughness of the Favini Crush paper (made with coffee grounds).

Synopsis

What’s behind an aromatic and reinvigorating cup of coffee? The most colorful, scented and lively world: lush plantations populated by hardworking harvesters living between plants with scented white flowers and red berries. “White flowers, coffee berries” tells about this fascinating world and about the story of two sisters that are fully integrated within the village life set up around coffee plantations. Life and its unforeseen bends will force them to cultivate each other’s memory. Coffee plays a crucial role: beyond love, it is the element that has always kept them together.
