Moak opens filial in Germany. Export quota reaches +12%

16.09 Caffè Moak, Italian coffee roasting and distribution industry, establishes a new branch in Germany. While already lined up since August 17th, Caffè Moak GmbHwill be launched next month in Hofheim-Wallau (Frankfurt am Main). Managing Director Marco Caudini, who boasts more than twenty-five years of experience in the food and beverage business sector, will lead the new business branch together with Alessandro Spadola – Ceo of the holding. After New York and Malta, this is the third business branch abroad for the company headquartered in Sicily featuring strong export quota, which grew by 12% in 2015 and is already well established in the internationalization process.
The Moak brand is not new to the Teutonic people (Germany was the first country the company started its international distribution network), and aims at strengthening its own business by developing a direct business relationship between mother company and partners specialized in Food Service, Serving and Private Label.
“Germany – Alessandro Spadola explains – is among the five most coffee-consuming countries worldwide. Thanks to our distinguishing range of products including more than 12 premium quality blends, a speciality coffee line and a wide selection of local traditional coffees, such as Filtro and Caffè Crema, we believe that we can set ourselves apart from competitors and meet the needs of different consumer groups. While true that the culture of Italian espresso abroad is growing, you also need to take into consideration the habits and trends of the place you are in”.
Moak will launch the new Marsalì product line onto the German market, which is also accompanied by the brand’s communicative strength, besides the quality of its blends. “Caffè Moak has great chances of expansion – says Caudini – thanks to the different strong points of the two brands (Moak and Marsalì) the Holding relies on: creation and design of Private Label lines, high quality and varied offer, an innovative company working towards research and development, a remarkable and ambitious in-house marketing area, the attention to training and an efficient customer service”.
